Our Mission

We, the schools of Chester, Deep River, Essex and Region 4, engage all students in a rigorous, challenging, and cohesive educational program. As a community of learners, we foster individual student achievement and empower students to excel in an environment of collaboration, responsibility, and mutual respect. We prepare our students to be knowledgeable, involved citizens in a rapidly changing world.

LEARN HOW TO CREATE A POWERSCHOOL PARENT ACCOUNT

arbor day

The third grade, along with the green team and the Essex Land Trust celebrated our fourth Arbor Day tree planting on Tuesday, May 19th. Third graders decorated reusable bags and sold many of them to students and at the art show. Our proceeds went to the Essex Land trust, and together, we purchased a tree. This year, we replaced the magnolia tree that was planted two years ago. The green team ran the program, third grade students recited poems that they wrote, and The Essex Land Trust was responsible for planting the tree. Our new tree is located near the sixth grade wing.
